Class Policies

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Online Classes:

You can cancel your attendance up to 2 weeks before class. (14 days prior to class).

You will receive a full refund minus a $50 administration fee.

If cancelling class 14 days or less, you can receive a partial refund of 50% of the class.

This includes "day of" sickness or other emergencies. No exceptions. You cannot transfer your class fee to another class, but you may transfer your class to another massage therapist in your place.

Online Classes with Mailed Supplies:

For online classes that include supplies shipped to the student, cancellations are not permitted once the supplies have been mailed. Supplies are typically shipped 15-20 days prior to the class start date, ensuring students have everything needed for the course.

In Person Classes:

You can cancel your attendance up to 72 hours before class. (3 days prior to class).

You will receive a full refund minus a $50 administration fee.

If cancelling class 3 days or less, you can receive a partial refund of 50% of the class.

This includes "day of" sickness or other emergencies. No exceptions. You cannot transfer your class fee to another class, but you may transfer your class to another massage therapist in your place.

CE Retreat Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. To ensure fairness and clarity, our retreat cancellation policy is as follows:

90+ days prior to retreat start date: A $500 non-refundable deposit will be retained. The remaining balance will be refunded.
60–89 days prior to retreat start date: Receive a 50% refund of the total amount. (A minimum of $500 is always non-refundable.)
30–59 days prior to retreat start date: Receive a 25% refund of the total amount. (A minimum of $500 is always non-refundable.)
Less than 30 days prior to retreat start date: No refunds will be issued. Instead, the amount paid will be applied as an account credit toward future CE retreats or courses.

Bad Weather Policy

If Prestige Bodywork & Education cancels or reschedules because of bad weather or roads, you will receive a full refund. If we hold class on the scheduled date but you cannot make because of weather or roads, you will receive a full refund minus $50 administrate fee.

This policy applies to in person classes only. This excludes the CE Retreats.

Class No Show Policy

If you do not show up to class (in person and online), and you do not contact us prior to class, your class fee is non-refundable.

Prestige Bodywork & Education reserves the right to cancel the class up to 2 weeks prior to the class if less than 4 people have signed up.

Private Continuing Education

To reserve a private class, a 50% deposit is required. This deposit is non refundable, and the remainder of is due 30 days prior to class.

If you decide to cancel the class at any point, the deposit is non refundable.

You are allowed to reschedule up to 2 weeks before class. Both the deposit and any amount still due will transfer to the new scheduled date. However, if you ask to reschedule less than 2 weeks before class, it is treated as a cancellation. This includes last-minute sickness. Your deposit and administrative fee is forfeit. To reschedule, you will need to prepay a new deposit and schedule a new class date.

Classroom Rules

Arrive on time. Each hour of class starts at the top of the hour. If you are late from 1 minute to 19 minutes you are considered tardy for that hour. If you arrive 20 minutes after the hour you are considered absent for that hour and will not get credit for that hour. Late arrivals may disrupt the learning environment.

There will be adequate break and meal times during the hours in the classroom.

Turn off or silence cell phones during class. If there is an emergency during class, please take the call outside of the classroom.

Bring all required materials as noted in the class description. If you enrolled in an online class, be prepared with required materials and have your model ready.

If you are enrolled in an online class and do not have a model, you will be required to send a time lapse video of you performing the service within 30 days of class to receive your CE certificate.

There will no quizzes/tests at the end of class, but participation is required to show the newly learned abilities.

Continuing Education Certificate

In-Person Classes:

Once the therapist has attended all required hours, a signed certificate will be given to the therapists and it will show the name of the course and how many hours were attended.

Online Classes:

Once the therapist has attended all required hours, a signed certificate will be emailed to the student within 72 hours of the class date. A 30-minute online call will be provided 30 days after class, to discuss the new modality and answer any questions that may have come up while practicing and incorporating the new modality in your practice.

Code of Conduct

All students are expected to remain professional at all times and abide by the school policies.

Any disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior will result in removal from class without a refund. This applies to both in person and online classes.
